What is AI?

The term artificial intelligence is used to define machine, the connection between process and function. It is basically designed as human mind learning and solving problems. As machines becomes progressively capable, the tasks which require intelligence is removed from the definition of AI and regarded as a phenomenon called "AI effect". Since optical character recognition have become a routine technology, thus frequently not considered to be AI. When we talk about modern machine capabilities, it includes understanding human speech affluently, contending at the highest level in strategic game systems, autarchic operating cars, acute routing in content delivery networks and military replications. It was found in the year 1955 since then it has faced failures and success as well. AI research has been divided into sub-fields based on technical considerations. The traditional objective of AI include reasoning knowledge, representation, planning learning, natural language processing, perception and the potentiality to move and utilize objects. This field draws upon computer Science information, Engineering Mathematics, Psychology, linguistic philosophy and many other fields. Artificial intelligence revolves around the use of algorithm. Algorithm is a set of instruction that a machine can execute. There are various algorithm which are capable of learning from data they can improve themselves by learning new strategy.  It is basically designed to reduce human efforts and make work more simpler.AI was founded on the theory that human intelligence "can be so precisely described that a machine can be made to simulate it". Partly, AI is considered to be a danger to humanity if it progresses persistently, while many believe that will create a risk of mass loitering.

Human Robot Sophia

Sofia is a human robot developed by Hong Kong base company Henson robotics. The report was first started on 14th February, 2016. And made the first public appearance on mid March 2016 at South by Southwest Festival. The robot modelled after the ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti. Sofia represents human gesture and facial expression as well. She is designed in such a way that she can answer simple questions in a conversation. Sofia speech ability is provided by text-to- speech engine which also makes her able to sing.  Sophia is comprised with several features, cameras is combined with computer algorithms within her eyes which allow her to see, follow faces, sustain eye contact and recognise individuals. She is able to speak fluently using natural language subsystem. In the year 2018, Sophia was upgraded with functional legs and ability to walk. In the year 2019, Sophia displayed the ability to draw while simultaneously having conversation with humans,  thus she is programmed to act naturally while she draws, her eyes tracing the movement of the pen on the paper and chats by glancing between person and her work. Sophia is designed as a suitable companion for old age people in order to nurse them and help them in crowd. The creator of Sofia has developed 9 humanoid siblings around 2019-20. In 2017 Sofia was open to to a cloud environment using decentralized blockchain marketplace. David Hanson the maker said, "it would ultimately make Sophia fit to serve in healthcare customer services therapy and education." Sophia  took part in many high-profile interviews, seminars and has been  covered by media around the globe. Sophia became a Saudi Arabian citizen in October 2017, the first robot to acquire citizenship of any country. In November 2017, Sophia was named the United Nations Development Programme's first Innovation Champion, and is the first non-human to be given any United Nation.

Elon Musk's Neuralink

An American neurotechnology company called "Neuralink Corporation",  founded by Elon Musk, Ben Rapoport, Dongjin Seo, Max Hodak, Paul Merolla, Philip Sabes, Tim Gardner, Tim Hanson, and Vanessa Tolosa. The company aims at  developing implantable Brain-Machine Interfaces (BMIs), it was started in 2016 and was first publicly reported in March 2017,  headquarters in San Francisco.  It has been reported that several high-profile neuroscientists from various universities have been hired, since its founding.  By July 2019, Allen Musk has contributed $100 million, thereafter a total of $158 million funding was received and a staff of of 90 employees were employed. Not much said about the project in detail. But it is reported that company is aiming to make device that can treat brain diseases and human enhancement. But later musk said about the "neural lace". He added it is a digital layer above the cortex that would b ideally implant through a vein or artery. like a fit bit install compressed of super thin thread that carry electrodes that technology in intended to felicitate high throughput communication to external computers. Currently experiments are going on on animals. Basically, it works on the principle of transhumanism, to make devices to treat serious brain diseases in the short-term, with eventually accomplishing goal of human enhancement. Musk explained that the long-term goal is to achieve "symbiosis with artificial intelligence". Neuralink at that time, announced that it was working on a "sewing machine-like" device capable of implanting very thin about 4 to 6 μm threads into the brain, and demonstrated a system that read information from a lab rat via 1,500 electrodes, anticipating to start experiments with humans in 2020.On 29th of August 2020 mask set the day have planted the chip in a pig and it is since 2 months. After which experts and scientists oppose the idea and asked for detailed data on the project. As this is considered to be e a threat and dangerous procedure.

2020 Latest Trends in AI

Artificial intelligence or machine intelligence is becoming highly popular in industrial sector as it helps in improving business and customer services. There are various latest development and trends that could be seen in the year 2020. Every year we witness a change in AI trends that set a benchmark for the following year. Through AI, scientists intend to teach machines the power to think and make decisions which is exhibited by the humans. With the help of AI, many companies have tried to enhance the experience of the users, they have incorporating AI into almost every solution offered by them. Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, IBM and Amazon are among the top companies investing extortionately in researches that contribute to the development of AI. The most advanced technology in AI is Hanson Robotics, Sophia, works on human traits.  Some highlighted trends of AI in 2020 is:- 1.Commercial deepfakes will resurrect or revive celebrities, shake up retail, and change media.  2.AutoML: AI is the future of AI design 3.Federated learning will bring in a new data partnership ecosystem 4.Doing more with less: Tackling small data problems in AI will be a major focus 5.Natural language processing will help us understand the building blocks of life. Also, in real time marketing activities as the marketing trends, customer reviews, more company will use artificial intelligence in order to interact with customers and satisfy the clients. Artificial intelligence powered chatbots this will recall some part of conversation with client client in order to to make it a personalized conversation to help company's growth.

How can AI be dangerous ?

It is said that human species are superior than other species on this planet. Because human brain has some capabilities that other species lack. Human dominate other species because of the superiority. Now this superiority is at risk due to increasing artificial intelligence. As artificial intelligence suppresses humanity in General intelligence and is becoming super intelligent which is a threat to human beings. Is controlling super intelligent machine with human compatible values maybe are harder problem. Artificial intelligence are in existence since decades but the growing space is a matter of stress to human species. The recent data says that real 2020 most of the companies will intake artificial intelligence in order to provide better service to the customer and grow business. This may lead to to decrease employment opportunities in future and ultimately lead to existence threat in long run. Autonomous weapons are artificial intelligence systems that are programmed to kill. In the hands of the wrong person, these weapons could easily cause mass fatalities. Moreover, an AI arms race could unintentionally lead to an AI war that also results in mass fatalities. To avoid being derailed by the enemy, these weapons would be designed to be extremely difficult to simply "turn off", so humans could feasibly lose control of such a situation. This risk is one that's present even with narrow AI, but grows as levels of AI intelligence and autonomy increase.
